Ko Matarawa whakaora ia au

Ko Ngāti Raukawa te mana whenua

Ka mihi ahau ki a rātou

Ko Emma tōku ingoa

Ko Martin  tōku whānau

Tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tautou kātoa.

Kia ora, my name is Emma Martin. I have been teaching at Tokoroa North School since 2004. In this time I have taught every year level and enjoyed every one of them. My passion is to teach the children of our kura to be great people. I am our school wide Health and Physical Education leader and the Team One Literacy Leader. In these roles, as well as being a classroom teacher I look to develop positive learning experiences that create a love of learning in a safe and caring environment.  I grew up in Tokoroa and came back here after university. Our community is in my heart. I am married to Steve who is a volunteer fireman and we have three sons, who have all been through Tokoroa North School. When I am not at school you can usually find me supporting my boys on the rugby or soccer field, basketball court or in the swimming pool. When I get a chance I love to read and go to my favourite place in Aotearoa to relax which is Ōhope beach.

I look forward to meeting all of you and your tamariki.
