Megan Gooding

Kia ora, I’m Megan Gooding and I’m a Year 5 & 6 teacher. This is my 17th year teaching at our kura. I have lived in Tokoroa for 45 years and am a past pupil of Tokoroa North School. I love living here in our vibrant multicultural community.

I’m a life-long learner and recently returned to university part-time to build on my skills and knowledge. I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital and Collaborative Learning through Unitec and my Masters in Education through the University of Canterbury.

I am passionate about helping all children to succeed through building a warm and inclusive learning environment. I love to be creative and have fun. My classroom is a chill learning environment full of literacy, numeracy, science, Te Reo, sports, technology and art!
