Karen Tyrrell

Hi, I’m Karen Tyrrell, Deputy Principal, Team Leader of Team 2, Year 3 & 4.

I have been at Tokoroa North School for most of my life as I was a foundation pupil, before returning to teach here as a young teacher and then returning after having children who also attended Tokoroa North School. I thoroughly enjoy teaching here and working with the amazing tamariki and their whānau.

I encourage the tamariki I work with to be the best that they can be and endeavour to provide a learning environment where each student is supported to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour.
